Programmable guided rocket-target 200 (PRM-200) is intended for the following:

a) live firing of air defense rocket systems, medium protection with radar or infrared guidance systems, for the purpose of personnel training and combat readiness verification

b) live firing with guided rockets air-to-air with infrared or radar systems for self-guidance

c) live firing of LPA units with radar systems equipped with computer devices.

The Target PRM is launched from G-4 aircrafts being equipped with additional installations and equipment for the Target carrying and launching. Aircraft loaded with the Target may takeoff from any military airport with concrete runway. The rocket Target is launched at aircraft speed of 0,8 Mach. In case of emergency, the rejection of Target and its launcher is enabled.
