D E S C R I P T I O N
 
The set comprizes 5 miniature mechanical fuzes adjusted
 
for  actuation by means  of pressure, trip  or release, with

comparatively  small  actuation  forces.

The fuzes from  this  set are intended  for  completion  of

miscellaneous  mines.  They can  be used for  completion

of  some antipersonnel  and  antitank  mines, either  as  a

basic  or  supplementary  (ancillary)  fuze .

These fuzes  can  also be used for  making  of  improvised

mines  with  various  explosive charges  including plastic

explosive, trotyl, hexogen  and others having an initiation

sensitivity simular or  equal  to that of  trotyl .

Due to their miniature design, they are espacially suitable

for  making of miscellaneous  boody  traps .

The fuze connecting thread (M10 x 1) corresponds to that

of standard trotyl  rounds  ( 100,  200  and  500  g ) , and  a

mine  is  produced  by  simple  screwing of  the  fuze  into

the  charge  well . The  fuze primer  detonating  power  is

approximately  equal  to  that  of  the primer  N°.8 , which

ensures  initiation  of  TNT  rounds and other  explosives .
 








The  fuze  types  are  as  follows :

 
1.  Trip – type fuze – 1 (trip in the axial  direction – along  the fuze  axis)  / UMP – 1/
 
2. Trip – type fuze – 2  (trip in the radial  direction – perpendiculary to the fuze axis )  /UMP – 2/
 
3.  Release – trip – tupe  fuze – 1  (release  along the fuze axis , trip perpendicularly  to the axis ) , /UMOP – 1/
 
4.  Presure – trip – type  fuze – 1  ( pressure  along the fuze axis, trip perpendicularly to the axis ) , /UMNP – 1/  and
 
5.  Pressure – trip – release – type  fuze – 1  ( pressure  transversely to  the fuze axis , trip  along and  transversely  to the axis , and release  perpendicularly to the  axis ) .  /UMNOP – 1/

 





The fuzes are functionally  proven  with   99 %  reliability ,

simple and  safe  for  handling – laying  of  traps .  All  are

secured  with  the aid  of  transportation and  rigid  safeties

which  are  removed  on laying of  booby  traps . Some  types

possess special mechanisms which  prevent  deactivation so

that it is impossibile to clear  booby traps without activation

of  explosive  charges .

The application of  these fuzes to booby traps enables laying  

of powerful, difficult -to-detect  booby traps of comparatively 

small sizes, which is especially dangerous for  the  enemy  , 

and  it  creates a  special  unfavourable psychological .

Weterproofness ------------------------ 25 cm  deep  underwater .

Packing ---- 10  fuzes  ( of  the same type )  in a  plastic  box.

On  firing  of  one  fuze , transmission  of  detonation  to  the others  is  prevented .

20 boxes of  fuzes  are packed in a  wooden  case .
